As Web Designers/Developers we MUST to be aware about SEO (Search Engine Optimization). Google takes in consideration around 200 factors in order to rank a website. One of them is the speed of the website and it seems Google takes this factor .

That is the main reason why from some months ago we have available the  Accelerated Mobile Pages Project.

The Accelerated Mobile Pages

This project’s main goal is to improve the user experience in mobile devices generating  really fast websites. It is already being used by sites like, Pinterest, Twiter or Linkedin or CMS like Medium or WordPress among many others.

Not so long ago we had a Chrome extension to verify the correct addition of the AMP code in the Websites. Now we have this tool to analyze the website in a simple and straightforward way. If you don´t place the URL in the box you, at least will see which is the mínimum code to add to the Website to be considered AMP.

For many, reading on the mobile web is a slow, clunky and frustrating experience – but it doesn’t have to be that way. The Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) Project is an open source initiative that embodies the vision that publishers can create mobile optimized content once and have it load instantly everywhere.
